Under new ownership and quite pleased! Full on Cheeseburger deluxe, chips, bottle your choice soda and a oh so good hit brownie all for 6 something! Where can you find that deal and be great food? Owners are on it! Changing and adding things they say. We will be back!!!
Ok, here is the update. After waiting in car for awhile, Autumn walked up to see if I needed help. She apologized immediately and got me a key. Woke next morning to breakfast at my door with another apology from Autumn. Knock on the door little later, was Autumn & Crystal, the owner. Sincere apology with a reason, not an excuse. Warm request to have me stay again sometime so I could verify what happened was not the norm. Changed my review from a 1 to a 5. Give Fish Island a try. You won't be disappointed. Here to check i, but no one on site. Cabin locked. Sign on door says open till 7 got here b4 but they are not here. No cell service near resort. Left area to call 2 numbers provided but no answer.
I am so thankful I found Fish Island Resort. It was everything I imagined and needed before going back to the "real world" from vacation. It was peaceful, relaxing, and a good place to unwind. The owners were extremely friendly. They put their hearts and souls into making it perfect here. My cabin was so cute, clean, and had everything I needed. I loved sitting outside on the patio at night and in the morning. The property is conveniently located close to lots of fun outdoor activities including.. Kayaking, horseback riding, state parks, walking trails , history and more! It is very close to Land between the Lakes recreation area! This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway or longer. I love that it is off the beaten path , but still in a convenient location. I live 5 hours away and WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK FOR A WEEKEND GETAWAY!

Highly recommend Fish Island. A really neat and cozy cabin with a short drive to a state park, LBL and several boat ramps. The owners and staff are great and the store serves wonderful food at very reasonable prices!

It was a terrific spot. The family had time for one more outing before heading home. This place was a delightful stay. Great spot, nice price, clean cabins. I plan to stay again when I visit family in the area.
Quant cottage. Nicely located in the Land Between the Lakes. Easy access to multiple activities. Up keep to these cabins are better than several I've been in. Clean with a well stocked. Kitchen area, closets and dressers and towels and washcloths.
